• Biological Activity: The Activity MIP-4 is calculated by the ability to chemoattract Human T lymphocytes at 1-10ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 100,000-1,000,000IU/mg.
• Protein Sequence: The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids of MIP-4 was determined and found to be Ala-Gln-Val-Gly-Thr
• Purity: Greater than 97.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Storage & Handling

• Storage: Stability: Lyophilized MIP-4 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution MIP-4 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles
• Form/Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
• Buffer/Preservatives: MIP-4 protein is lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered concentrated (1.0mg/ml) solution in 20mM PB, pH 7.4, 100mM NaCl.
