| Description | Recombinant of human BMP 7 protein |
| Form/Appearance | Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. |
| Buffer/Preservatives | BMP-7 was lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) sterile solution containing 10mM sodium citrate pH=3.5. |
| Purity | Greater than 95.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.(b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE. |
| Protein Sequence | The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ser-Thr-Gly-Ser-Lys |
| Application notes | Cytokines And Growth Factors |
| Source | Escherichia Coli |
| Solubility (25°C) | It is recommended to briefly centrifuge the vial prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in 20mM-100mM acetic acid at a concentration of 0.1-0.5mg per ml. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at <-20°C. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions. |
| Storage | Stability: Lyophilized BMP-7 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution BMP 7 Human should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles |
