• Solubility (25°C): Suspend BclXL in 1000µl sterile 18M-cm H2O, over night at 4°C. Dilute 10 fold into selected buffer system.Bcl-XL has tendency to form intramolecular disulfide bond, 5mM DTT is recommended in assay buffer. When running SDS-PAGE gel, 10mM DTT is recommended.
• Storage: Stability: Lyophilized Bcl-XL although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Bcl-XL should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles
