A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Wnt1 from mouse, human, rat, bovine, dog, macaque, opossum and rat based on a 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Partial cross-reactivity is expected against chicken Wnt1 based on a 91% sequence homology. Cross-reactivity with Wnt1 from other sources has not been determined.

• Storage: Store vial at -20° C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

Western blot using Biorbyt's Protein A purified anti-Wnt1 monoclonal antibody shows detection of Wnt1 protein in mouse testis lysate. The results show specific binding corresponding to the ~41 kDa Wnt1 protein. Primary antibody was used at a 1:500 dilution.
