The SR-101-Leu-CMK Red FLISPTM Assay Kit detect active serine protease enzymes. It utilizes the red fluorescent dye sulforhodamine 101 (also known as Texas Red), conjugated to the target amino acid leucine and equipped with a chloromethyl ketone (CMK) reactive group, to create the fluorescent inhibitor probe SR101-Leu-CMK. SR101-FLISP specifically labels active chymotrypsin-like serine proteases in living cells.
