  Protein G is suitable for use as an antigen, as a control or standard in assays, for conjugation and for most other immunological methods. Protein G contains only IgG binding domains, ensuring maximum specific IgG binding.

Key Properties

• Purity: Recombinant Protein G is chromatographically pure and shows predominantly a single band by SDS-PAGE. Protein G was assayed by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Protein G. No reaction was observed against anti-Protein A.

Storage & Handling

• Storage: Store vial at 4° C prior to restoration. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. Protein G is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
