• Application Notes:
  The kit provides a simple method for detecting Pro content in a variety of biological samples such as serum, plasma, Plant or animal tissue, cells, and bacteria. In the assay, Pro is extracted with sulfosalicylic acid (SA). After heat treatment, Pro reacts with acidic ninhydrin solution to produce red; after extraction with toluene, the absorbance is measured at 520 nm. Please note 96 Well Clear Flat Bottom UV-Transparent Microplate is needed.
