Description | Rabbit polyclonal to PAK7. Serine/threonine-protein kinase PAK 7 belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, the STE Ser/Thr protein kinase family, and the STE20 subfamily. PAK7 is a serine/threonine protein kinase that plays a role in a variety of different signaling pathways including cytoskeleton regulation, cell migration, proliferation or cell survival. PAK7 phosphorylates the proto-oncogene RAF1 and stimulates its kinase activity. Additionally, PAK7 promotes cell survival by phosphorylating the BCL2 antagonist of cell death BAD. |
