Description | Rabbit polyclonal to MALT1. MALT1 antibodies represent a pair of fully characterized antibodies that recognize two different regions of a target protein. The product is developed by Biorbyt to address whether the signal observed truly represents the protein of interest, an often encountered issue in antibody-based assays. The use of a pair of fully characterized vPair antibodies in the same assay can validate signal specificity since vPair antibodies recognize two independent epitopes of the same protein. Different sets of vPair antibodies are developed at Biorbyt to work with specific applications, including antibody arrays, Western blot, IP-Western, ChIP, IHC, and FACS. Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation protein 1 (MALT1) belongs to the peptidase C14B family and enhances BCL10-induced activation of NF-kappa-B. MALT1 is involved in nuclear export of BCL10. Additionally, MALT1 binds to TRAF6, inducing TRAF6 oligomerization and activation of its ligase activity. MALT1 has ubiquitin ligase activity, and MALT1-dependent BCL10 cleavage plays an important role in T-cell antigen receptor-induced integrin adhesion. |
