• Purity: Anti-Chicken IgG was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Chicken IgG coupled to agarose beads and extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Donkey Serum, Chicken IgG and Chicken Serum. No reaction was observed against Bovine, Goat, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat and Sheep Serum Proteins. This antibody will react with heavy chains of Chicken IgG and with light chains of most Chicken immunoglobulins.

ELISA Results of Purified Donkey Anti-Chicken IgG mx10 Antibody tested against purified Chicken IgG (MX Bv, Gt, Gp, Ham, Hs, Hu, Ms, Rb, Rt, Sh). Each well was coated in duplicate with 10 µg of Chicken IgG/IgY (p/n orb2652774) [Red Line], Bovine IgG (p/n orb2652780) [Green Line], Goat IgG (orb2652767) [Blue Line], Guinea Pig (p/n orb2652762) [Purple Line], not shown Hamster IgG (p/n orb2652759), Horse IgG (p/n orb2652757), Human IgG (p/n orb346219), Mouse IgG (p/n orb2652749), Rabbit IgG (p/n orb2652747), Rat IgG (p/n orb2652744), and Sheep IgG (p/n orb2652741). The working dilution is 1:56000. The starting dilution of antibody was 5 µg/ml and the X-axis represents the Log10 of a 3-fold dilution. This titration is a 4-parameter curve fit where the IC50 is defined as the titer of the antibody. Assay performed using 3% Fish Gel/PBS Blocking buffer, HRP Conjugate Stabilizer, Goat Anti-Donkey IgG HRP conjugated (p/n orb347994) and TMB substrate (p/n orb348651).

Predicted/Observed Size: 25 and 72 kDa for Chicken IgY and Serum, 25 kDa for F(c) and Fab, 75 kDa for IgM. Chicken F(c) migrates slightly higher.
