This FAM-Phe-DAP Green FLISP AssayTM Kit etects active serine protease enzymes. This in vitro assay uses a green fluorescent probe consisting of carboxyfluorescein (FAM) linked to the targeting amino acid phenylalanine and a diphenyl 1-(N-peptidylamino) alkanephosphonate (DAP) reactive group, forming the fluorescent inhibitor FAM-Phe-DAP. FAM-FLISP labels active chymotrypsin-like serine proteases in living cells.
