Preparation: Chlamydia pneumoniae elementary and reticular bodies are purified from infected host cells by density gradient centrifugation. They are presented in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.5. Inactivation: This product has been treated with Beta-propiolactone. Confirmed inactive by attempted growth under original culture conditions. Since no procedure can guarantee absolute sterility, the reagent should be handled with appropriate safety precautions. |
