Description | Mouse monoclonal antibody to CD79A is found in the development from the earliest pre-B cell to plasma cells. CD79A is a marker for B-lineage lymphoblastic leukemia. It is required in cooperation with CD79B for initiation of the signal transduction cascade, and is activated by binding of antigen to the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR). This leads to internalization of the complex, trafficking to late endosomes and antigen presentation. |
