Tricin 7-O-glucoside is a flavonoid with demonstrated antidepressant and anxiolytic effects in vivo, as shown by increased activity in mouse forced swim tests. It also exhibits neuroprotective properties by mitigating cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and blood-brain barrier disruption, linked to the suppression of HMGB1 and NF-κB pathways.
