| Biological Activity | Daratumumab was studied in a series of in vitro assays and was found to induce CDC in freshly isolated MM cells obtained from the bone marrow of 13 previously untreated or relapsed MM patients. Furthermore, daratumumab triggered antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) in CD38-expressing MM cell lines in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) enriched for NK cells, as well as in patient MM cells in the presence of both autologous and allogeneic effector cells. |
