• Purity: This purified antibody has been heated to 56°C for 30 minutes. In ELISA and other immunoreactive assays, this antibody will recognize both native and recombinant human IL-33 in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.

• Storage: Store vial at -20° C or below prior to opening. This vial contains a relatively low volume of reagent (25 µL). To minimize loss of volume dilute 1:10 by adding 225 µL of the buffer stated above directly to the vial. Recap, mix thoroughly and briefly centrifuge to collect the volume at the bottom of the vial. Use this intermediate dilution when calculating final dilutions as recommended below. Store the vial at -20°C or below after dilution. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.

• Application notes: This purified antibody has been tested in western blotting. Reactivity is also expected in ELISA, neutralizations, radioimmunoassay and immunohistochemistry. The endotoxin content is estimated to be < 10 pg/µl by the LAL method. By western blot a band approximately 18 kDa in size corresponding to mature human IL-32α protein is expected in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
