• Description: IL2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated mutein (variant form) of human IL-2 polypeptide chain containing 134 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 15517 Dalton. Our Interleukin -2 has an Ser substitute for Cysteine at position 126.The IL-2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

• Biological Activity: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependant stimulation of murine CTLL-2C ells is 0.0645 ng/ml, corresponding to Specific Activity of 16.9 MIU/mg.
• Storage: Store at 4°C for up to two weeks. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
• Buffer/Preservatives: The protein (1.1mg/ml) was lyophilized after extensive dialysis against 0.17mg sodium monobasic 0.89mg dibasic sodium phosphate buffer to pH=7.5.

• Application notes: < strong>Experiment Notes: Protein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods1. UV spectroscopy at 280 nm using the absorbency value of 0.614 as the extinction coefficient for 0.1% (1mg/ml) solution. This value is calculated by the PC GENE computer analysis program of protein sequences (IntelliGenetics). 2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using calibrated solution of IL-2 as Reference Standard.
